Job Development Services
The role of the job developer is to maximize employment opportunities for clients by developing, implementing and maintaining a marketing and networking strategy with the business Community. The job developer will conduct unsolicited outreach to prospective employers in order to facilitate a positive relationship.
Participants accessing the Job Development Service will have opportunity to receive individualized coaching sessions on job search strategies, interview techniques, and career portfolio development. The experienced worker adds positive influence to the work environment through knowledge, experience and attitude. Continuous intake is available to access this program.
Job Strategies Clinic
The Job Strategies Clinic is a three-day workshop that covers a variety of topics to assist with a successful job search.
Topics include:
- Techniques and strategies for self-marketing
- Identifying marketable skills and abilities
- Writing styles and tips in building an eye catching resume
- Writing professional and polished cover letters
- Building a comprehensive job skills portfolio
